This is the Act of Lordship of the Kingdom of Arkane. Within this Act are the guidelines to be followed by a governing House of Arkane when awarded the title of Lord or Lady of a province of Arkane.

This Act of Lordship, so mandated by the Crown of Arkane and the Council of Arkane, structures the agreement and
guidelines to be followed by those who own leases to the lands of Arkane.

I. Lordship over the land gives the governing party the right to govern the province in the stead of the Crown
of Arkane and is subject to Arkanian law with no authority to mandate their own laws.
A. The Arkanian Military will provide Military support to all lands but will be led by officers and
are subject to the Crown, the Council, and Military Officers only.

B. The governing party has the right to a policing force controlled by the governing party but is subject
to the Crown and the Council of Arkane as a para-military force and enforcers of the realm and its laws.

II. Lordship is mandated by the Crown of Arkane and is subject to its governing body.
A. Lordship of a province means ownership of the lease only. All lands will be considered Arkanian and
therefore owned by the Crown of Arkane.

B. All leases are subject to the Act of Lordship and the contract that comes with the deed.

C. The Crown reserves the right to change an agreement.

III. The leasing party is to pay for the cost of the lease and the taxes that accompany the province.
A. The cost of the lease will be mandated by the Crown and the Council of Arkane. Provinces requested to
be governed by a party shall cost twenty jeweled eggs. Provinces chosen by a governing party shall cost
fifty jeweled eggs.

B. Provinces will be ordered to pay a tax after the first year of ownership. Taxes for provinces
requested by the crown to be governed by a particular party shall be ten jeweled eggs and decrease
by five after each successful year. Provinces chosen by a governing part will be taxed twenty jeweled
eggs with a decrease of two after each successful year.

C. All commerce within the territory of the Kingdom of Arkane are subject to the tax mandated by the Crown
of Arkane.

IV. The governing party has the right to profit from the provinces they are governing.
A. All resources within the province are under the governing parties rule but are subject to the
authority of the Crown of Arkane.

B. The governing party shall gift ten percent (10%) of all resources to the Peoples of Arkane and
shall be used as the Crown and Council of Arkane see fit in the best interests of the people of Arkane.

C. The governing party has right to the remaining resources and profits.

V. The governing party has the responsibility to keep a strict level of minimum lifestyle for all citizens of
Arkane.

A. The governing party will be responsible for the livelyhood of all citizens within the province and
are directed to maintain proper public regulations mandated by the Crown.

B. The governing party is to use but not limited to the use of resources and profits gained by its
territory for the upkeep of the province.

VI. The governing party must adhere to these regulations or be forced to lose the lease.

A. The governing party must adhere to these regulations. Failure to pay taxes in one full year may result
in the immediate removal of the House from the land and the lease. The lease will then fall under the
Royal Crown of Arkane until the Crown and the Council deem it fit.
